Collections

The Department of Special Collections and Archives collects unique and rare materials documenting the history and culture of specific geographic regions, institutions and academic disciplines. For more information, see our department's Collection Development Policy.

We have begun the slow process of putting collection information on the Web as well in the library's online catalog, but most of our holdings are not listed yet. For information on specific collections, please refer to the collection lists below or to the library's NKUIRE catalog.

Use the search feature to find specific keywords or phrases in these finding aids or to find books in our collections.

We have also compiled a list of finding aids that are fully accessible online in order to aid browsing.
